Dude, my friends are so awesome. Both VA and Smith ones. Also, I really want to go to Boston soon for really obvious reasons. Waka waka waka (totally a bad inside joke).

I got this email from my dad tonight:

" As I guess you've heard, we took Figaro to be euthanized today. In his last few months, he lost weight to the point where you couldn't touch him anywhere without feeling bones, and he was constantly biting us and howling off and on. He really hadn't had much of a cat's life for quite a while. But when I think of him, I think about his happiness about being outside, the time he left for three days when we moved here, and then, just as we figured he'd lived a good cat life, turned up again, I guess after checking out the new neighborhood, his encounters with vehicles, and the joy he brought three-year-old Ellie as a kitten.

He's through all that now, and hopefully somewhere where he can chase the rabbits and birds and not catch them. We miss him, and so do Koshka and Rusty."

Rest in peace, my sweet cat prince.

This weekend has been intense, to say the least.

First off, I've managed to find seasons 2 and 3 of Big Wolf on Campus and I have been watching random episodes of it on and off in my spare time. It's kind of soothing. The show's got some great references and is very kitsch.

Anyway, Friday, I got to go hang out with Bellatrix and watch anime for a while before Amy and I headed to Repo practice. It was so much fun! I will hopefully be able to start in December or January. Also (best part) I'll be playing Shiloh! One of the guys who played Nathan to my Shi was super intense and totally kissed me on the head and everything in the first scene. I also played Pavi a bit and got groped by some genterns. And then felt up by two different Graverobbers (one of them was the one at the Academy show which is like EEEEE OMG He's awesome!). I can't wait to see who will play Nathan with me. I'm secretly kind of hoping it'll be the guy I have a massive crush on, but that would give me super major daddy issues for the role lol.

Saturday, I was going to go to the Topataco meet and great, but Mel's car broke down, so, instead, Chelsea and I had a one mile adventure walk back to campus in rain that suddenly turned torrential. It was wacky, man. After that, I went to game and Miss Kitty got killed! I'm honestly really sad about loosing her (maybe) as a character, but the GM motivation behind it is sound (I coupe'd their boss, so they coupe'd me). However, she might get resurrected because Buddy (er, Leaf...er, Harlin) is bartering with someone/something to have her brought back by using not only the lives of Sam and Mama Legba, but also his own life. If Kitty does get brought back, Harlin sure as hell better not die! If not, well, I'll be sad, but I'll suck it up. Plus, then I get to be Shi Nigami (her tentative name for now), the sushi huckster!

Anyway, today was nice, but I had to wake up early to go to work after a fitful night of sleeping. Part of me wants to go to sleep right now and skip the Venture Bros tonight. But...but I love them.

Hey, do any Deadlarpers have the packet with power ups and stuff? If so, can I borrow it?

Alternatively, do you know if it's possible to buy up marksman, charismatic, and animal magnetism?

My ankle that I sprain last semester? Acting up again. My other leg that has the magical, unresolved issues? Also acting up. In fact, the entire lower half of my body is making it hard to do much of anything and the heating pad is not working like it used to. Off to web md to diagnose myself and then live in fear of said diagnosis until I a. get better or b. go to a doctor. Speaking of which, getting the h1n1 vax on thursday. I hope I don't get the bacon fever before then, that would be lame.

I need to find someone to just carry me around campus. That would be awesome.

So if I ever do get either of those internships in NY, they're both about 20 minutes from my sister's apartment via public transport. This is kind of awesome. They are also located rather close to each other. (oh god, please let me be able to intern at world leaders or somewhere else awesome)

So, the main reason my mom sent me a super bitchy e-mail is because my cat needs to be put down. It makes sense, he's almost 18 years old, which is ancient in cat years, and he's survived being run over by a car twice. He's had a great life for a cat and I love him, but it's time. He has kitty Alzheimer and kitty dementia and kitty anorexia and some sort of kitty liver disease and is just generally in a bad mood all the time. It would honestly be cruel to keep him alive. It's just really sad to think about him not being there for me anymore. He was such a constant for so much of my life.

Mom said they'll try and hold off on putting him down until Thanksgiving, but I don't know if he'll last that long, honestly.


I love my little toilet cat. He will be dearly missed.

Maybe we can get a little kitten in his memory.

So much for kicking ass in the Jeopardy game at club today. At least I have Osaka's to look forward to.

Fleshing out more ideas for "Are You My Doctor?"

I have a feeling that doing it on lj/forums would be tons easier mainly because how do you stat a time lord? And in what system? I guess gurps could work, something akin to Sib's game on Wednesday nights.

I feel like allowing people to play time lords/doctors/companions is a good idea.

I kind of want to start a really low key Doctor Who rp on lj called "Are You My Doctor?".

Is this a tremendously bad idea?

My little nerd-love high totally just ceased. I think he's got a girlfriend.

All the same, I'm ok with the friend zone and I do want to join Genetic Imperfection (I don't know if I could handle all the sex and underwear that's in Rocky...I'm not very promiscuous...). Plus, gamers are awesome, regardless of relationship status.

So, we went to see the shadow cast of Repo! the Genetic Opera. It was really fun and I screamed my lungs out which was, admittedly, really obnoxious, but, hey, that's what you do in a shadow casting. Also, I kind of have the worlds biggest crush on the guy who played Nathan. This is bad because, tonight, he's playing Rocky in Rocky Horror. You know what that means? GOLDEN SPEEDO. So, of course, now I'm obligated to go to that after Kelly's party (which everyone should go to!!!).

All the same, I had an awesome night and Terrance Zdunich proclaimed a large majority of SSFFS fap fodder so GO TEAM US!

Epic night of malling, getting season 2 of Arrested Development and WANT (3oh!3), and seeing Where the Wild Things Are.

I cried so much in that goddamned movie. I loved it!

First, a little complaint; many of my hulu shows are taking half season breaks or random until mid-November hiatuses. This is a bit frustrating and causes me to think that I should just buy a TV. There's a nice little Divnex (like in the library) for 150-ish at Best Buy. I think I'll do the TV the same was as the tablet (although I'll wait till Christmas for that one-I am hopeful), where I'll buy it if I get a job.

Speaking of jobs, sent out more e-mails, contacted more people. Anyone know of any open jobs?

These past three days, I've had really vivid amalgam dreams that I wish I could piece together to make sense because I KNOW they were totally awesome.

On Friday, it was the pool/clothing/elementary school friend carrying me dream.

On Saturday, it was the Superhero meets Deadlands with a sprinkling of Changeling. I was Powercat or Power Girl and there was a shower scene and horseback riding. It was cool.

And today it was the cute nerdy guy from Eastwick as a vampire with an older vampire brother (a la Vampire Dairies) and then something to do with college dorms and a Thanksgiving family dinner.

There were all really vivid and I remember waking up going, "No, I don't want to wake up yet!!!"
